Mehendi  is a natural dye which is used to create temporary tattoos on the skin. It can also be used to dye your hair Burgundy.

Henna comes in powder form and is probably the longlasting, most effective natural hair dye product. The color can last more than 6 months. It is prominently visible in sunlight.

Steps to use henna to dye your hair:

  1. Boil water and add 1 spoon of tea. Any brand is fine and add a teaspoon of coffee as well
  2. Strain the mixture after 5 mins and Keep it to cool
  3. Mix about 1 cup of henna in the strained water.
  4. Stir the mixture until it’s completely combined and feels like the consistency of gel, add more water if necessary.
  5. Cover the mixture with plastic wrap, and let it sit for Overnight. (You may add more water if it becomes thick consistency after Overnight  so that it can be applied to your hair.)
  6. Wash your hair with shampoo . Please do not use conditioner 
  7. Dry your hair completely 
  8. Apply the henna mixture to small sections of your combed hair until all of your hair is covered with henna mixture properly.
  9. Wrap your hair in plastic and let the color develop at least for Overnight(or Atleast 9 hours for beat result)
  10. Wear a hair mask and apply an oil ex.  coconut oil along your hairline. This is so the henna will not stain your skin.
  11. In the Morning wash your hair without shampoo and leave it for 2 days
  12. After 2 days wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner
